You’ll build this battle vehicle brick by brick for a powerful Star Wars military machine. The Star Wars AT-TE Walker was one type of vehicle used by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. In battle, the walker usually carried a crew of 10 clone troops. At 16 inches long and 8 inches tall, your LEGO Star Wars AT-TE is fully equipped for the fight ahead. It is also large enough to mount a full-scale assault. The spacious interior contains two pilot seats, four seats in the rear, and a gunner’s seat behind the cannon. The troop carrier inside this walker can also carry your additional clone mini-figure troops. Six turrets adorn the outside of the Star Wars LEGO AT-TE. Two spring-loaded missile shooters are mounted at the front of the walker. It also has opening front and back hatches, a roof hatch, and a windshield for access to the pilot chamber.The LEGO Star Wars AT-TE has six fully functional legs, two of which move independently. The AT-TE is composed of gray and dark red bricks and pieces. It has a technic handle at the top of the vehicle made from a technic beam and cross pin. The LEGO technic handle allows the user to carry it by hand. The technic handle is also made to be picked up with the dropship from another Star Wars LEGO set.The box contains a 798-brick construction kit with two booklets of instructions showing brick assembly. The instructions are well-illustrated, making the model easy to construct while identifying each brick and brick placement. Inside the box are all of the bricks necessary to build an AT-TE and a STAP, or Single Troop Aerial Platform. The STAP is composed of blue and gray bricks. It is meant to hold a mini-droid. The STAP comes with a clear stand to place it in so that it appears to be flying. The set includes six mini-figures: Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Rotta, Captain Rex, a Clone Trooper, and a Battle Droid mini-figure. Of the mini-figures included in this set, Rotta and Captain Rex are the rarest. The Skywalker mini-figure has a blue lightsaber, Ahsoka has a yellow lightsaber, and the Clone Trooper has a blaster pistol.This set was released by LEGO on July 26, 2008. Highlighted for ages 9-14, this Clone Wars LEGO kit is suitable for Star Wars and LEGO fans of all ages, including adults. As an added bonus, the set can be used to build the T-22 Armoured Airspeeder.
